The oldest picture in this set, this Leyland Super Comet was originally in the famous fleet of Peter Slater and was one of a pair (PWT738/9E) bought by GE Moore(Haulage) Ltd. who I worked for after leaving school. This yard in Nether Kellet in Lancashire is now a housing estate and no more wagons are to be found there
